The next phase of trail upgrades for ngurrak barring | RidgeWalk is due to commence from Tuesday 19th of March (weather dependent) on a small section of Toroa Track in Doongalla Forest. Following this will be trail maintenance works to Bleakley track in Sherbrooke Forest.

These trail upgrades are being completed by Yarra Ranges Council in partnership with Parks Victoria to improve walking links between townships.

Works to the section along Toroa Track (section identified on the map) will take approximately two weeks to complete. Further information regarding work sites and closures will be announced closer to date.

We will endeavour to make the disruption to trail users as minimal as possible by completing small sections at a time and re-opening where possible on weekends. Onsite signage will have the most up to date trail closure information.
