First stage of upgrade and maintenance work on the Sherbrooke Track (Red track outlined on map) will be wrapping up by end of day Friday 26/05/23. The track will be open to the community to use from Saturday 27/05/23.

Works on the Ridge Track will commence on Tuesday 30th of May. Below is an update on the order of the existing trails being resurfaced in partnership with Parks Victoria to ensure the communities safety, and experience (depending on weather):

1.Ridge Track (Green track outlined on map)

2.Pound Creek (Purple track outlined on map)

3.Wattle Track (Blue track outlined on map)

The Sherbrooke Picnic Ground carpark is still currently closed off to the public, but the O’Donohue Picnic Ground will still be available. The sites will be signposted while works are underway.

These trails are part of the upgrade of trails within the Dandenong Ranges as part of the RidgeWalk | ngurrak barring project, improving links between townships and walkability which aligns with Yarra Ranges Council’s policy for improving community wellbeing.
