As Mt Evelyn grows, so do the diverse needs of its community. In response, Council is proposing to introduce parking restrictions within the township and address evolving demands. This project aims to create more equitable parking outcomes, ensuring that residents, business operators, and visitors all benefit from improved accessibility and fair access to parking.

Parking areas which are not managed by Council, such as private parking areas, are not included within the changes.

These changes are in line with the Parking Management Framework, as part of Council continuing to review parking infrastructure in individual towns/ areas as required.

  • General traffic concerns

Majority of the contributors mentioned congestion issues in the precinct. One of the major concerns were regarding visibility issues while exiting the laneway beside ‘Pie in the Sky’.
