Council at its meeting dated 26 July 2022 resolved to declare the Special Charge Scheme and landowners were advised that anyone wishing to lodge an appeal with the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) regarding the scheme must do so by 29 August 2022.

The submission period has now closed and Council has not been advised of any submissions made.

Council will now proceed with finalising the detailed design and obtaining quotes for the construction of the works. Once a quotation has been awarded, all landowners will be contacted to advise of the commencement date for the works and what to expect during construction.
