We had so much fun last month that we came back again & brought colleagues from our Infrastructure services team to talk to local residents. We set up in the busy main street on another sunny morning.

We spoke to community members about recent upgrades to infrastructure along Lilydale Road and also did a check in around the purchase of some land in Green Street ( an overwhelming YES please for council to purchase & keep as public open space !) We spoke about our draft aquatic strategy and asked "what do you love about Healesville ?"

We had officers from the Community Engagement, Communications & Infrastructure teams attend today.

We heard from 49 people including local residents, business owners and visitors to the area.

The main themes were

• You passed on some lovely comments about council officers - in particular our community development officers who work with local groups & organisations.
• You have concerns around traffic in the area, access to new developments and the amount of heavy trucks going through town.
• You would like to see Queens Park have better facilities ie toilets & new nets (also the existing facilities maintained better)
