• Cire Services Winter Warmer Community Market

We attended the Cire Services Winter Warmer Community Market today at their Chirnside Park Community House. It was chilly ! But local coffee traders warmed us up - have you ever tried chilli coffee ?

  • Featured engagements

We encouraged community members to tell us their thoughts about projects currently open for Community Consultation including CHIL (Community Heart in Lilydale) the draft streetscape for Collins Place, Kilsyth and expressions of interest to join Councils Rural Advisory Committee. As always, we encourage any discussion around what you love about your local area !

  • Connections

We had officers from the Community Engagement and Recreation join us today.

The draft Active Recreation plan is currently open for Community Engagement and we want to hear from all areas and demographics of our community with how we can encourage everyone to get more active ! We chatted with around 50 people including locals and visitors to the area - we also met lots of very cute canine visitors!

  • What we heard

    • Infrastructure maintenance and improvements are your main requests - roads, pedestrian crossing, footpaths, accessible parking.
    • You want to get active and are open to new innovative ideas to assist you and your families.
