Art & Sole is now open to the public

29 September 2022

We invite community members to explore and experience Art & Sole.

Art & Sole aims to increase walking in Lilydale using creative approaches and provides the community with opportunities to explore the local area, connect with community and move for good health.

Experience the Wurundjeri story and sculpture of Bour-deet, created by Wurundjeri Elder Aunty Kim Wandin and Chris Joy and use the wayfinding signs and maps to explore the Art & Sole walking trails.

Enjoy the journey around Lilydale West, reading or listening to Lilydale’s rich Wurundjeri Wandoon stories told by Wurundjeri Senior Elder Aunty Doreen Garvey Wandin and local historical stories curated by the Lilydale Historical Society.
