Art Attack is coming

A host of talented Yarra Ranges creatives have been commissioned to deliver strong doses of healing to boost your immunity against all our recent challenges. An exciting goodie bag of activities and experiences will be rolling out across Yarra Ranges to put some spark in your life and bring us together again.

A special effort is being made to activate those places which often miss out, so wherever you call home, there will be something not too far away!

With the ongoing challenge of pandemic restrictions, dates may change, so stay tuned for the latest information on dates and locations.

Activities on offer include:

  • Small Hall gig: A night of music, theatre and performance
  • The Funky Monkey Family: Funky family circus fun
  • How Many Homes: Interactive Music dance and costume street theatre
  • African Themed market: a rich vibrant experience of African music, food, costume and wares.
  • Puppet Playshop in the Park: Puppet making using recycled and found materials + storytelling using puppets.
  • Here Me: Youth theatre workshop and Flashmob
  • Drum & Strum: Part concert, part workshop. Djembe drums and blues guitar.
  • Projections event: Led by a renowned photographer, photography walk to take images for public projection.
  • African Drumming: Hands on drumming workshop
  • Curbside Carnies: Live circus variety show
  • Dearly Beloved: Lavish floral display and interactive event.
  • A Day in the Patch: activities and performances from local artists, community drumming and lighting event, and bush dance
  • Ripples on the Pond- textile art workshop
