When you register for a Shaping Yarra Ranges, we collect: an email address, password, a name, location (post code or suburb only), year of birth and gender. It is necessary to complete each of these fields to register for an account.
On registration, we will validate your email address by asking you to respond to a communication to that email address, but we do not check the accuracy of any other information you submit.
You may sign up to Shaping Yarra Ranges using an email address that does not include your name and by providing a nickname rather than your actual name.
Yarra Ranges Council does not seek to identify anyone on the basis of the information submitted, except to address a query made by that account holder to the Yarra Ranges Council.

These Terms apply to all visitors and users of this site. Linked sites, affiliated services or third party content or software have their own Terms that you must comply with. This website contains the copyrighted material, trademarks, patents, trade secrets and other proprietary information (“Intellectual Property”) of Yarra Ranges Council and its suppliers and licensors. Yarra Ranges Council owns and retains all proprietary rights in the intellectual property. All intellectual property in the content of this site including without limitation to text, software, source code, pages, documents and online graphics, photographs, sounds, audio, video and other interactive features are owned by or licensed to us.
