Hear from one of last year's winners Lee-Anne from Shapers in Mooroolbark, and how she finds her inspiration for her much loved Christmas windows!
Entries can be uploaded by businesses between Wednesday 5 November and Wednesday 3 December.
Voting will be open Tuesday, 25 November, until Wednesday, 10 December, for the community to choose their favourite Christmas window by 'liking' that entry.
Only one (1) entry per business.
Prizes will be awarded to the winner in each of our four regions: Urban, Hills, Valley and Upper. Council staff will sort the businesses into regions, so there is nothing you need to do to identify your region.
Each region will have a business winner and a community winner.
The winning business for each region will win some goodies to share - and bragging rights.
The winning community member will receive a $150 voucher to spend at the winning business.
Businesses and Community members will need to register to Shaping Yarra Ranges to enter or comment in the competition.
Councillors and Council employees will not be eligible to win a prize.
Prizes offered are not transferable and may not be redeemed for cash. The winner of a prize may be substituted via a second draw in circumstances where reasonable efforts to identify the winner were unsuccessful.
Winners will be contacted directly by phone or email on Thursday 11 December.
The personal information requested for the 'Yarra Ranges Christmas Window Competition' is being collected by Yarra Ranges Council for the primary purpose of keeping you informed about the competition.
By entering the competition, you acknowledge that your submitted photo may be used by Yarra Ranges Council, including social media, for promotional purposes.
Yarra Ranges Council reserves the right to use any other information provided for secondary purposes (related to the primary purpose of data collection).
