Works Summary
Construction of the entire 2100m length of Wandin Creek Road, Wandin East. The scope of construction is from Beenak Road south to Monbulk-Seville Road.
The road had been designed to be an asphalt seal with the use of the existing open drainage. The road width will generally have a 5-metre wide trafficable seal with localised road widenings at bends.
The road width will generally follow the existing road formation and look to minimise the removal of existing vegetation. The road is crowned in the middle, allowing stormwater to sheet flow to either side of the road and into the existing open drainage infrastructure.
Disturbed sections of private driveways will be reinstated to the same standard as they existed prior to the works with use of the same surface material.Project timeline
