Proposed plans for Belgrave Recreation Reserve cricket net upgrades

The Cricket nets at Belgrave Recreation Reserve are outdated and are in need of an upgrade.

Council is applying for a Sport and Recreation Victoria Grant to assist with funding to construct a new three-lane training facility with one lane accessible to the public.

These cricket nets are utilised by the Belgrave Cricket Club, home to 9 cricket teams and an integral part of the sport and active recreation community of Belgrave.

An upgrade to the cricket nets would have a significant impact on the Club’s training environment and growth.
