The works are scheduled to commence during the week beginning Monday 4 March 2024 and should take approximately 4-5 months to complete subject to favourable conditions.

Important information:

• Works occur between Monday – Friday, 7.30am to 4.30pm (can vary)
• Traffic may be halted for up to 15 minutes
• Emergency access and services will remain for residents
• Weekly waste collection services will be earlier (around 6am)
• Do not leave vehicles parked on roadside when property unattended
• Keep your speed under 40km/h
• Be prepared to stop as you approach the works
• Follow directions given by works personnel and/or traffic controllers
• Council will be undertaking inspections (almost daily)

As part of the works, any existing property crossovers will be reinstated to the new road level using a similar material and as close to their current standard as possible. If a landowner wishes to have their crossover upgraded from crushed rock to concrete or asphalt as part of the project, they may approach the contractor undertaking these works for a quotation, noting that this is a private agreement between the landowner and the contractor.

Please note, the contractor will inform residents of any major disruptions to driveway and/or road access during the works so please keep an eye on your mailbox for notices from the contractor.

Tainton Street, Wandin North - Council has appointed Jotomex Civil Contracting Pty. Ltd. as the contractor for these works, with Greg Hodgett (0418 334 632) being the contractors site supervisor.

Railway Parade, Wandin North - Council has appointed Etheredge Mintern Pty. Ltd. as the contractor for these works, with Glenn Hammerstein (0458 120 376) being the contractors site supervisor.
