Council at its meeting dated 28 June 2022 resolved to declare the Special Charge Scheme and landowners were advised that anyone wishing to lodge an appeal with the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) regarding the scheme must do so by 1 August 2022.

The appeal period has now closed and VCAT have not advised Council that any appeal/s have been lodged.

Council will now proceed with finalising the detailed design and tenders will be advertised for construction of the works. Once the tender has been awarded, all landowners will be contacted to advise of the commencement date for the works and what to expect during construction.
