Please be advised of upcoming tree removal works as part of the road construction and sealing works along Mt Morton Road and Hood Street, Belgrave Heights. This project is to be tendered in September 2022 with construction likely to commence in early 2023.

Vegetation removal required as part of the works is scheduled to commence in the week beginning 29 August 2022 and should take approximately 1-2 weeks to complete subject to favourable conditions. To allow trees to be safely removed there will be rolling road closures along Mt Morton Road and Hood Street during that time.

Please be aware that while we will make every attempt to keep disruptions to a minimum, there will be some disruptions to access and traffic flow. Please obey the road work signage and instructions form the contractors onsite. Please allow an additional 15 minutes for your journey as some detours may be necessary.

Please inform any others within your household (or organisation) likely to be affected by these works of the above details.

Council has appointed Austree Contracting PTY LTD as the contractor for these works, with Sam Sweeney (0419 529 052) being the contractors site supervisor.
