No submissions have been made to VCAT and the road sealing project has proceeded to the next phase.

Tender submissions have been received and evaluated. The contract for the works has been awarded with works intended to commence in March.

Please note: Tree protection, in the form of safety bunting and flags will be in place for the duration of the works.

Construction works are scheduled to commence on Tuesday 10 March 2026 and should take approximately 8 weeks to complete subject to favourable conditions.

Works will include:

• 3.5 metres wide asphalt pavement
• Crushed rock shoulders and existing table drains reshaped
• New easement outfall drain in 25 Arthurs Road
• Reinstatement of vehicle crossovers
• Resurfacing of existing asphalt surface at start of road

Important information:

• Works occur between Monday – Friday, 7.30am to 4.30pm (can vary)
• Traffic may be halted for up to 15 minutes
• Emergency access and services will remain for residents
• Weekly waste collection services will be earlier (around 6am)
• Do not leave vehicles parked on roadside when property unattended
• Keep your speed under 40km/h
• Be prepared to stop as you approach the works
• Follow directions given by works personnel and/or traffic controllers
• Council will be undertaking inspections (almost daily)
• Driveways will be reinstated as close to their current standard

Please note, the contractor will inform residents of any major disruptions to driveway and/or road access during the works so please keep an eye on your mailbox for notices from the contractor.
