Background
Yarra Ranges Council is inviting submissions on its intention to sell four small blocks of land in Kilsyth and Mooroolbark.
The intention to sell follows a Council proposal to purchase 3.6 hectares of former school land at 150 Cambridge Road, Kilsyth, with results from the recent community engagement process largely supporting the move.
Part of this engagement process also asked the community about whether they supported Council selling four smaller blocks of land to help fund the purchase of the former school site. This was also largely supported by the community. This notice of intention to sell Council land is the next step in the process for us to look at the best way to help fund the purchase of land at 150 Cambridge Road.
