Thank you to our community members for providing feedback on the concept design for the Playspace renewal at Mooroolbark Heights Reserve.

We’ve come up with concept designs for the Playspace using feedback from the Have Your Say Survey, completed by community members in November 2020.

What you told us

We heard from parents, grandparents and other community members that the Mooroolbark Heights Recreation Reserve is commonly used for health and fitness, playing, meeting with friends and walking.

You told us:

• The current play equipment is not adequate and does not meet your/your child’s needs
• The playspace is located in the best position to supervise both the playground and the oval at the same time
• The playspace needs a variety of different equipment to suit and entertain all ages
• The site would be suitable for outdoor fitness equipment

Proposed Playspace and Fitness Station

The proposal for the playspace includes a large combination play unit with slides, a gyro swing, a trampoline and seating areas.

We’ve included elements that cater for young children, such as nature play elements, a swing set and a junior slide

We’re also proposing a fitness station with outdoor equipment at the site.
