We are creating a safer trail crossing between the popular Yarra Valley Trail and Warburton Rail Trail. These works will improve access for locals and visitors to the extensive trails of the Yarra Ranges.
The experience and safety improvements to the south of the Trail Crossing at Beresford Road include:
- Solar-powered lighting
- Seating along the trail
- Picnic facilities
- Landscaping
- Refurbished heritage railway gate and new bollards
These improvements aim to encourage trail users of all ages to engage in healthy activities.
This stage of improvements is working towards the future upgrade of the Beresford Road crossing; these upgrades will improve the road network
