As Lilydale grows, so do the diverse needs of its community. In response, Council is introducing the Lilydale Parking Precinct Plan to update current parking restrictions within the township and address evolving demands. This project aims to create more equitable parking outcomes, ensuring that residents, business operators, and visitors all benefit from improved accessibility and fair access to parking.

Parking areas which are not managed by Council, such as Lilydale train station and parking associated with private shopping areas, are not included within the proposed changes.

These proposed changes are in line with the Draft Parking Management Framework, as part of Council continuing to review parking infrastructure in individual towns/ areas as required.
