The landowner questionnaire to determine support for a special charge scheme to construct Marshall Street, The Crescent, Junction Road, Roland Avenue and Longview Road, Mount Evelyn has now closed.

Council appreciates the strong level of engagement and thanks you for your participation in this process.

Of the 101 properties that share a boundary with the road:

• 53 landowners (52%) indicated support for the proposed project
• 20 landowners (20%) indicated opposition
• 28 landowners (28%) did not respond

Based on the responses received, a clear majority of participating landowners support proceeding with the project.

What happens next?

It is anticipated that all landowners will receive a letter inviting them to view a landowner briefing in July, followed by statutory notices in the subsequent months. Construction is currently expected to commence in early 2027.
