Further to Council’s notification in January 2022, we would like to provide an update on the road construction and sealing works along Heath Road, Grandview Road and Huon Road, Belgrave Heights.

The bulk of the works within the section of Heath Road from the intersection with Grandview Road to the court bowl are now complete. Some nature strip reinstatement works remain as does the construction of the wearing course asphalt, which will be completed for all roads approximately 12 months following completion of the project.

Drainage construction within Vista Road and Grandview Road is currently underway, following which works will commence on kerb construction in Huon Road. It is currently estimated that works will be complete within approximately 6 months.

Following feedback from residents regarding speeding concerns within Grandview Road, Council has amended the design to include two single lane slow points. These are shown on pages 11 to 13 of the amended design which can be viewed via the project webpage: shaping.yarraranges.vic.gov.au/heathroadgroup
