Thank you to everyone who shared their thoughts and ideas on how we can prioritise the wellbeing of dads and male carers.

We received over 100 contributions and heard overwhelmingly from dads and male carers that they want opportunities to connect with other local dads, to engage socially with their children in activities and to strengthen their parenting role and support network. This valuable feedback helped guide the development of programs and activities for dads and male carers of children aged 0-8 years.

We are now excited to announce the program for Term 1 2025- a series for 4 workshops with Building Better Brains and social activities for dads and male carers of children aged 0-8 years. Don't delay in booking your place!

This is a joint project between Yarra Ranges Council & Maroondah City Council who understand the importance of prioritising the wellbeing of dads & male carers within our community.

This project is unashamedly gender focussed, and as a result of this we will only be planning programs for dads & male carers.

Do you know other local dads or male carers who would like to get involved in programs and activities to support their roles? Feel free to share our contact details.
