Chaundy Road has been designed to be constructed with an asphalt seal and existing open drains.

The works include the construction of 335 metres of road with a 3.5-metre trafficable seal.

The road will follow the existing formation to minimise the removal of existing vegetation. The road is sloped towards the high side, allowing stormwater to sheet flow to the high side of the road. From there, it will be collected by the existing open table drain and connected to the drainage network at Mt Morton Road.
