Of the 28 properties sharing a boundary with the road, 24 completed questionnaires were received, a response rate of 85.7%. The high level of response to the questionnaire is very much appreciated.

Of the responses received, 12 landowners supported the proposed construction project, 12 landowners opposed and 4 landowners did not respond.

Due to the insufficient level of support received, Council will not be proceeding with the proposed Special Charge Scheme for this road. While we understand this outcome may be disappointing for some residents, community support is an essential part of progressing a scheme.

Council will now turn its attention to other road sealing opportunities and priorities across the wider Yarra Ranges area. The feedback provided through this process is still valuable and will help inform future planning.
