Yarra Ranges Shire Council (“Council”) gives notice under section 190 of the Local Government Act 1989 (“Act”) of its intention to enter into a lease with Michelle Lightfoot in respect to the land at 3412 Warburton Hwy, Warburton (“the land”) for the continued use of Retail Sales.

The principal terms of the lease will be:

• A term of 7 years with 1 further terms of 7 years.
• Under the lease, Michelle Lightfoot will be permitted to use the land for a retail shop.

A person may make a submission on the proposal.

Submissions must be submitted by no later than 5pm 28^th May 2021.

Any person making a submission may request in the submission that they wish to appear in person, or to be represented by a person specified in the submission, at a meeting to be heard in support of that submission.

All submissions will be considered in accordance with section 223 of the Act.

Submitters will be informed in writing of the day, time and place of the meeting of the Council or of a committee determined by the Council where submissions will be heard.
